Steven Chin has spent more than two decades on the operational side of violence — as a SWAT operator and sniper, on high-risk warrant service and quick reaction deployments, in executive protection details across the United States, South and Central America, and as the instructor responsible for teaching other officers how to survive and how to be defensible afterward.
That combination is unusual. Most people who can do this work cannot teach it. Most people who teach it have not done it. Direct Action Training exists because he does both.
