HOW AN ENGAGEMENT WORKS
1. Conflict check and scope
A short call to confirm the matter, the jurisdiction, and that no conflict exists.
2. Retainer and materials
A retainer agreement is executed and case materials are transferred.
3. Review and preliminary opinion
Analysis of the record, followed by a verbal preliminary opinion before anything is put in writing.
4. Written report
A formal expert report if the matter warrants it.
5. Testimony
Deposition and trial testimony as required. Remote deposition available.
