Direct Action Training delivers defensive tactics, firearms, edged weapon, impact weapon, and use-of-force instruction to law enforcement agencies. Our lead instructor is the Lead Defensive Tactics Instructor for the Broward Sheriff's Office and a use-of-force subject matter expert who reviews cases in litigation. The training reflects what actually survives contact, and what actually survives review.

Instruction is calibrated so that smaller officers, larger officers, and officers with more or less experience each leave able to perform the technique.

Officers are evaluated against a defined standard, deficiencies are identified and corrected, and competency is documented. That record is what a department needs when a use-of-force incident is reviewed.
