SCHOOL SAFETY & GUARDIAN PROGRAMS
Guardian Training Built Around the Standard, Not Around the Clock
Florida's Guardian program requires 144 hours of training and an 85 percent firearms qualification standard. Security companies staffing Guardians are losing money on candidates who fail, and losing contracts on candidates who pass but cannot perform. Direct Action Training was built to fix both ends of that problem.
THE PROBLEM WE WERE ASKED TO SOLVE
Security firms placing Guardians into schools carry the cost of every failed qualification, every remediation cycle, and every candidate who washes out after the company has already invested in them. Meanwhile districts carry the risk of a Guardian who holds a certificate but has never been evaluated under stress. The training standard is a floor. It is not a guarantee of competency.
